Mill beautiful raised panel doors and drawer faces with speed and ease! These vertical panel cutters offer an attractive 1½″ reveal on your panel front.
Use a sturdy fence at least 6″ high, set 90-degrees to the router table, and a minimum 2¼ HP router. In order to keep the workpiece firmly against the fence, a featherboard-type hold-in device should be clamped to the router table. Maximum safe speed is 12,000 rpm.
These raised panel bits are perfect for ⅝″ thick stock. If you are using ¾″ thick stock for your panels, use one of our specially-designed 3-wing back cutter bits to keep the panel face flush with the rail and stile frame.
